On February 11 (Saturday) from 10am to 2pm; eChai Ventures - Indore Chapter hosted "eChai for education: eCommerce Conference" in association with Kaffeinated Konversations and Just Storyteller at Institute of Management Studies, DAVV.
Individuals from leading e-commerce companies of Indore shared their knowledge and experience with the students.
Mayur Sethi, founder of Hoppingo and MP09Digital threw some light on various career options one may pursue in the e-commerce industry.
Sawan Laddha, founder of MP Angel Network briefed the students about importance of a business idea and it's execution. He told students that profitable business model must be given higher priority than bringing in the funds.
Mishal Jain, co-founder of Oye24 stressed on the importance of vision and mission of a company. No company's aim is to generate profit, profit is something you gain during the process, the main aim is to satisfy public's need.
Manish Vaswani, founder of Fullscoop enlightened the students about importance of localizing your business, he gave the example of Alibaba to justify his point.
Vasundhara Dubey, business analyst at Swan Angel Network told about the importance of a USP, and a promising business model in today's competitive scenario.
Pankaj Vijayvargiya, founder of Bitlevel international, asked the students to give special consideration to a catchy and brand-able domain name.
Akhil Kacholia, founder of Legal Buddy, gave a complete insight into evolution of e-commerce industry and it's future scope in India, he also discussed the importance of trademark, Copywriting and legal issues with the students.
Sahil Makhija, co-founder of Drugmegamart asked the students to start with the very basic aspects of the industry, like WordPress and blogging.
RJ Navneet spread positive vibes and lots of energy during the event, and had an entertaining interaction with the students.
Monkey's cafe and Rich Chocolatier provided refreshments for the conference.
The whole conference was summarized with an interactive and fruitful question and answer session, where students approached all the speakers with their doubts and queries.

- Help them with internship opportunities & project-based work with startups where students can learn and/or earn
- Enabling students entrepreneurs to help their ventures grow
