Zone Startups India is launching the 5th Edition of Next BIG Idea Contest in Hubballi in association with KLE Technological University. Your startup could be one of the 5 winners of the Next BIG Idea Contest to travel on a fully paid trip, for a 2-week bespoke program in three major Canadian cities - Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. We invite you to join us for the launch event comprising of an engaging panel discussion & networking session. The panel focuses on how competitions serve as a catalyst for any vibrant startup ecosystem. Along with getting the competitive juices flowing, they also help in identifying the "cream of the crop" from the ecosystem and can better serve up "investable" entrepreneurs and business models to the angel and venture capital community. The contest is a “Market Access Program”, whereby the winners get to incubate their company in Canada for a two week all expense paid program. The visiting entrepreneurs receive mentorship, business development advice, customer connects, investor access and valuable international experience. Over the past 4 years, the Next BIG Idea Contest winners have gone onto raise significant investment. Some of the past winners include CitrusPay (acquired by PayU), Vidooly, ShieldSquare, Plackal, Flip Technologies, AdSparx, Konotor (acquired by FreshDesk). Almost everything eChai builds now has AI in the workflow. We go through what we tried, what worked and what wasted our time, and then connect you to founders further along than us.
You can ask us anything, whenever it comes up.

Every week we hear what founders are building, what they recommend to each other and what they have moved on from. Twice a year we go through what it means for your category. In between we answer, or find a founder who can.

How it works.

A partnership is for growth stage founders who want to come in as a partner brand, and it runs one year at a time. The brand fee for the year is paid to eChai. An affiliate share runs alongside it, linked to the outcomes we drive together. Both carry GST.
