Someone who builds new products or ventures inside an existing company, applying startup-style initiative and risk-taking within the resources and constraints of a larger organization.

Why it matters

Intrapreneurship is how big companies try to innovate like startups, and it can be a path to founder skills without leaving a stable job. For aspiring founders, it is one way to build and de-risk before going out on their own.
