Value-Based Selling

Selling by framing your product around the concrete business value it delivers, revenue gained, costs saved, risk reduced, rather than its features or price.

Why it matters

Value-based selling justifies your price by tying it to outcomes the buyer cares about, which is how you avoid competing on cost alone. It requires understanding the customer's economics, the payoff of good discovery.

For example

The rep frames the 20-lakh price against the 80 lakh the tool will save the customer, selling the outcome rather than the features.
