Do I still need to hire a data analyst, or can AI cover it for now?

Pre-seed through seed, AI plus a curious founder covers most analytical needs. Hire when decision-makers keep waiting on questions nobody can answer quickly, or when data quality and definitions (what counts as active?) start burning you. The first data hire then spends much of their time making your data and AI trustworthy, not competing with the AI.
