Expensive but reliable
We used Mailchimp for over 2 years eventhough their service was expensive. The ease of creating a creative email and sending it to the groups the way you want in a very friendly user interface did out job easier. Eventually we had to send emais to a lower number of users who were active in our services so we discontinued mailchimp but if you have a good number of users whom you need to target, go for it.
