Business Model Canvas
A one-page template that maps the nine building blocks of a business, customers, value proposition, channels, revenue, costs, and more, so you can sketch and test a model quickly.
Why it matters
The canvas forces you to think through the whole business, not just the product, and to spot the weak assumptions early. It is a fast, cheap way to pressure-test an idea before committing real resources.
For example
A founder sketches the nine boxes, customers, value, channels, revenue, costs, on one page and spots that the model has no realistic distribution channel.
