Pitch Deck
Also called One-Pager
A short slide presentation founders use to tell their company's story to investors, covering the problem, solution, market, traction, team, and ask. Usually ten to fifteen slides.
Why it matters
The deck is the primary tool for raising money, and a clear, honest, compelling one opens doors that a muddled one closes. Learning to tell your story tightly through the deck is a core fundraising skill.
For example
A founder tells the story across twelve slides, problem, solution, market, traction, team, and the ask, and lands the meeting that leads to a term sheet.
