GO DESi is a packaged food brand inspired by Indian flavours & formats. All our products are sourced, processed and branded at the farm gate with the aim of increasing marginal farmers share in the food value chain.

They work with farmer cooperatives, SHGs and other rural businesses to make their products retail shelf ready and then plug them into brand GO DESi and their distribution network.

GO DESi was a part of the Upaya Agri cohort, Wadhwani Foundation's FMCG scale-up programme and was also incubated at IIM Bangalore. They are also backed by some of the country's leading angel & seed investors.

We were joined by Vinay Kothari, Founder, GO DESi for the Startup Growth Panel focused on Rising Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) brands in India.

Vinay Kothari has 12+ years of experience in FMCG sales & branding. He Worked in pioneering rural distribution projects like E-Choupal. Handled large sales teams in Gujarat, Bihar, Jhrakhand & MP. Worked as the brand manager of Sunfeast, handled national brand launches of Sunfeast Dark Fantasy, Farmlite.

Vinay started GO DESi as a consumer focused confectionery brand in 2018, the brand is currently available in 5000+ outlets, highest selling confectionery brand on Amazon & we do close to 500+ orders on a daily basis on our websit www.godesi.in. Close to 1 lakh customers have directly bought from us over the last one year.
