Can I put personal expenses through the company to save tax?

The short answer

Do not. Routing genuinely personal costs through the company is not a clever tax hack, it is a risk that tends to surface at the worst moment. It muddies your books, can be treated as a taxable perquisite or a disallowed expense, invites trouble in an audit or due diligence, and can weaken the limited liability your company structure gives you. Legitimate business expenses belong in the company; genuinely personal ones belong in your personal accounts, paid from your salary. When you raise, sell, or get audited, clean separation is worth far more than the small sums you might have saved. If a cost is genuinely mixed, have your CA treat it correctly rather than guessing.
