Should I keep my personal and company money strictly separate?

Yes, from day one, always. Mixing personal and company accounts creates tax headaches, muddies your cap table story, and can undermine the limited liability your company structure is meant to give you. Run company expenses through the company, pay yourself a defined salary, and keep personal investing in personal accounts. This is not just tidier bookkeeping. When you raise, get audited, or sell, legible finances save you weeks of work and a lot of awkward questions.
