AMMAR SURATWALA

Co-Founder @ GRUNDER

I started GRUNDER to address a crucial gap in today’s digital world. While many social media platforms are saturated with content and users, they often fail to facilitate meaningful communication and connections. This is especially problematic in the startup ecosystem, where effective networking is essential for success.

Our mission at GRUNDER is to create an exclusive network tailored specifically for entrepreneurs and the startup community. Unlike general social media platforms that are overwhelmed with content and diverse users, GRUNDER focuses solely on fostering high-quality interactions among individuals who are actively involved in the startup ecosystem. As I am part of many offline founders clubs like Bombay founders club , E-Chai etc I know from my experience that you get so many contacts you learn so much its amazing. In these events I always ask myself why is there nothing like this online ? I wanna communicate and wanna exchange my ideas with a lot more entrepreneurs.

To validate our approach, we’ve initiated a pilot program using WhatsApp, where we onboard a select group of investors, startup founders, and emerging entrepreneurs through personal invitations and a selective screening process via our website. This pilot is helping us gather valuable insights and refine our platform to better meet the needs of its users when its launched.

Our mentor, Karan Pagare, has successfully launched a platform for stock market traders Boomm.in, highlighting the importance of building a community where meaningful connections are prioritized. His experience reinforces our belief that GRUNDER can provide significant value by focusing on the quality of interactions within the startup ecosystem.

GRUNDER aims to be more than just another app; it is a dedicated space where communication and networking are central, designed exclusively for entrepreneurs and those within the startup world.

Signing up on our website is completely free! If you encounter any issues with profile or notice something unusual, please don't hesitate to report it to us. We're here to help ensure a smooth and secure experience.

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

"At DevX.Work, we’ve greatly benefited from our association with eChai. Their events and networking forums have connected us with high-potential startups, ecosystem leaders, and innovation-driven professionals — many of whom have become valuable partners, collaborators, and even clients. What stands out most is the openness and accessibility of the community — whether you're an early-stage founder or an experienced entrepreneur, eChai provides a welcoming space to learn, collaborate, and grow. It's more than just a network — it's a catalyst for real, collaborative growth. We’re proud to be part of the eChai community. Highly recommended for any organization aiming to grow within the startup space."

“I have no hesitation in saying that my association with eChai has been a gateway into the startup ecosystem. Through this platform, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many young and dynamic entrepreneurs. These interactions have been immensely enriching - I’ve learned a great deal and have always tried to offer guidance whenever approached. It’s a truly symbiotic relationship that I deeply value, and it wouldn’t have been possible without eChai.”

"From late-night brainstorming over chai to early morning founder calls, eChai has been more than just a network for me; it’s been home base for ideas, impact, and inspiration. What started as a simple meetup years ago turned into a powerful movement, connecting founders, creators, and dreamers. I’ve had the privilege of seeing startups find product-market fit, marketers (like me) find unexpected collaborations, and most importantly, people finding their tribe. संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं – Let us move together, speak together. It’s not just a verse from the Rigveda — it’s how Jatin and the entire eChai community truly operate. We don’t just network, we grow together. Forever grateful to be a part of the eChai Effect.
