I am a Medical Doctor and have led teams in my previous roles and currently leading a team as well.I have close to 23 years experience. I have worked with both private & public organizations. I have International and vast Indian experience. Apart from India, I have worked in Scotland, UK and Sri Lanka and got some education from USA. I am a Medical Doctor (MBBS) with two post graduate diplomas in Family Health Management & Diabetes. I have also done a Diploma in Business Management. Apart from the above said education I have done Leadership courses/Executive Education from (pMBA) from Boston University -USA (on campus) and courses from IIM- Ahmedabad, ISB-Hyderabad and IIM-Calcutta (all on campuses/physical programs) which shall help me perform senior strategic roles. Also was part of Executive Education-Leadership (Harvard University, USA) in 2020.

I was a core team member for Abbott Nutrition (Fortune 500) having a business of 1200 Cr INR(annual)and was working closely with 60 Sales Team members including senior executives. I started Thermo Fisher Scientific(Fortune 500)’s Immunodiagnostic Division from scratch to 18 Cr (annually) across India & Sri Lanka. Had 7 indirect reportees and worked in a matrix structure. Had entrepreneurial stints with Homage Group and established my Clinic twice with Diabetes and General Physician practice. Worked with Health Insurance and Govt’s RSBY very closely. Worked for an Indian Insurance company - as agent and advisor. While at E-meditek had 30 Direct reportees and 15 indirect reportees who were branch managers of different regions across India. E-meditek was 180 Cr worth then. Headed 4 departments for this Organization. Was 2nd one to achieve authority to work with the Insurance Organization – Scottish Widows in Edinburgh, Scotland,UK in a team of 14. And used to give analysis to the Organization as a subject matter expert working closely with SwissRe (Switzerland). Helped a business partner to establish a business of Medical Tourism in India for African, European, Asian countries. Headed, Medical Affairs role for a Biotechnology Innovative company and supported a team of more than 100 employees. Worked with premier hospital of India – AIIMS, New Delhi with two very demanding departments – Neuro-Surgery & Pediatrics. Worked closely with International Organization NORAD, Norway & WHO. While Homage Group had a pan India level knowledge empowering event at All India Institute of Medical Sciences along with a NGO, Mitter Foundation. Led a team of 15 employees while at Indegene and established their projects at North, Central & East India. I have made strategies to develop our business and organization at Abbott, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Care People Services, Lifecare Innovations, E-meditek & Indegene. Worked with Govt., Army, NGO’s and other public/private entities at various points in my career. Independently handled crisis situations and helped organizations to progress further.

I also worked as Senior Trade Adviser - Healthcare for the British Government at British High Commission, New Delhi. Traveled to London, Leeds & Manchester to understand synergies in Healthcare between India & UK. Led various projects with Central & State Govt. and various premier Institutes. Had a bouquet of more than 10,000 UK Healthcare companies interested to work with Indian counter partners. Organized a Leadership Forum and a Health Summit with NHS, UK & Indian Healthcare, where apart from top Organizations, NITI Aayog also participated.

I have also written a book and various articles for Indian & Asian Magazines. Helped my team members grow along with the Organization and have set an example. Got various awards from top institutes apart from my own alma mater. Spoken at various forums Nationally & Internationally. I can lead by an example. And at the same time help my Team & Organization to lead & perform. I always like to work in a congenial environment and help maintain harmony among my team members and work in coordination to achieve one goal(of the organization) and deliver results.

In my role with AstraZeneca, I worked in Metabolics Division covering a vast Indian territory (North India, Central India & part of East India) in Medical Affairs & was responsible for Medico-Marketing of Dapagliflozin (SGLT2 inhibitor). I was responsible for educating/guiding Cardiologists, Nephrologists, Endocrinologists, Diabetologists & Physicians re Dapa HF & Dapa CKD apart from Declare Timi 58. KOL/KEE management was my main responsibility. Got two International Awards while at AstraZeneca. Was chosen as MSL Ambassador (only MSL from India) for ESC 2020. And selected as International Steering Committee Member (another International Reward).

In my last role I worked as Head & DGM - Medical Services at Apollo Sugar Clinics, Hyderabad (Pan India/ National Role). Currently responsible for Medical Services as a National Manager for 90+ Clinics & 22 SISH (Departments of Endocrinology) in Apollo Hospitals. My role involved KOL/KEE management, Quality, Training, Research, Medical Operations, setting up Protocols & getting newer Technologies/ Medical Equipments in the ecosystem. I was incharge of EMR/EHR for the entire division & leverage that for abstracts/ publications and data analysis. Our 6 abstracts got accepted in International & National bodies including 3 in IDF and 2 in RSSDI, under my Leadership.

Currently working as Medical Director – Head of Clinical & Medical Affairs for Morphic Medical, USA. I could achieve DCGI/CDSO approval for RESET (Endobarrier, DJBL) for I Step Clinical Study for Morphic Medical, USA. Expanding my Clinical Trial from Apollo to AIG & SAIMS(Mohak) & further.
