Hailing from the heartland of Nagaur, Rajasthan, Mohan witnessed firsthand the challenges that cumin, fennel, green gram, and psyllium seed farmers faced: quality produce, but shockingly low market prices. While many turned away, Mohan turned towards the problem. As a Chartered Accountant by qualification and an agriculturist by heart, he leveraged his financial acumen and empathy to bridge the gap between rural farms and global markets.

From a humble start in 2019, Maani Amma Agri Exim has become a trusted export house in India’s agri commodity space, shipping premium-quality spices and pulses to international buyers. Under Mohan's leadership, the company has grown into a network of 5,200+ farmers, united not just by business — but by a shared belief in fair trade, sustainable agriculture, and collective progress.

But Mohan’s vision didn’t stop at exports.

Recognizing the rising energy needs of rural farming communities, he diversified into solar energy solutions for agriculture. His solar venture empowers farmers by installing customized solar systems on farms — reducing dependency on erratic electricity supply and bringing long-term cost savings. It's a fusion of clean energy and clean food, aligning with India’s green future.
