Piyush Joshi

Investor, Tracxn

I am an accomplished mechanical engineer and 2x founder passionate about driving innovation and growth. With a robust engineering foundation from NIT-Warangal, I have been fortunate enough to explore multiple entrepreneurial endeavors and contribute positively to the startup ecosystem. I raised for my second venture, before shutting down due to the pandemic.

Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege to mentor over 50 startups, helping them collectively raise > $3M. My expertise lies in providing crucial guidance on fundraising and coaching founders in various vital aspects such as team-building, strategy development, go-to-market planning, customer validation, and more.

I have empowered founders to recognize and rectify critical errors, facilitating pivotal course corrections and even enabling them to make the difficult yet necessary decision of closing down non-viable ventures. As a highly analytical thinker, I employ a first-principle and second-order approach, fostering founders' self-awareness of their capabilities. My inputs go beyond simply capitalizing on current trends but focus on equipping them to build enduring, sustainable, resilient businesses for long-term success.

My motivation as an entrepreneur extends beyond personal success. I am committed to giving back to the startup ecosystem and fostering the growth of entrepreneurs. I envision establishing a thriving environment where founders have the necessary skills and support to transform their ideas into successful ventures.

If you are a passionate founder seeking guidance, support, or collaboration, I am always open to connecting.

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

"For me, eChai is a second home. I've been associated with it since the early days, when it was already setting a different tone for how startup communities could work. As a traditional business owner entering the new-age D2C space, eChai supported me in every direction. Over the years, it became my window to the startup world — and also gave me lifelong friends who continue to show up, for business and beyond."

"If there’s one phrase that sums up my journey, it’s truly ‘The eChai Effect.’ Six years ago, I simply walked into my first eChai event, not knowing what to expect. The honest conversations, energy, and inspiration from founders and entrepreneurs struck a chord within me. That eChai spark became the catalyst for everything to follow. I proudly say: my entrepreneurship journey started—and keeps evolving—because of eChai. Redicine Medsol’s story is integrally linked to this community. I’ve gained so much, not just as a founder but as a forever volunteer and grateful member of the eChai family. With all my heart, thank you Jatin Bhai and everyone at eChai for shaping, guiding, and supporting my dreams. The eChai Effect will always be a part of my story."

"eChai has played a truly pivotal role in HummingBird’s journey — even before Day Zero. From ideation to establishment and into growth, it’s been a constant source of support. It connected me with incredible people who’ve become more than just friends. One of the biggest reasons I chose to stay in Ahmedabad is because of the eChai community. It has shaped my growth — both personally and professionally — in ways that are hard to articulate. Honestly, words fall short when I try to express what eChai means to me. I’m deeply thankful and forever grateful to eChai for being such an integral part of my journey."
