More about Saurya Mishra

Saurya Mishra, the Founder of Articulus Surgical is grad and post-grad from IIT Kharagpur in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Manufacturing (with focus on robotics and control systems). He has spent over a decade working on robotics and complex control systems (including making India’s first adult humanoid project) and over 11 years in medical devices. He has strong knowledge of end-to-end development of products – from requirements to development, and compliance all the way to deployment. He has developed 5 major medical devices in my career, mostly made in India and deployed globally. In addition, he has extensive connections into the Hospital and Surgeon’s network in India and owns a super-speciality hospital as well. He has been a part of the research and development team at Philips India Healthcare and has also headed R&D as a part of the early team of Morphle Labs, a YC-funded start-up in Robotic Pathology.

He is very keen on the make-in-India-for-the-world dream and ultimately intends to make India the Medical device capital of the world.
