iParko is a startup initiative is to make parking hassle free and easily available, by providing ease in parking to the residents of Chennai. Lack of sufﬁcient parking space doesn’t only create parking woes but it also harms the environment by increasing the carbon footprint i.e. the more you drive to ﬁnd a parking spot the more you consume your fuel, so that should explain the increase in carbon footprint,so bringing solution for this particular problem would also help in reducing the carbon footprint. iParko is an application which will provide information about the parking spots in Chennai, following the information about the parking spots will be provided in the Android application, one can see the nearby parking spots, select the nearby spot and then the app will navigate the following location.
