Experienced Professional

For the first six years after graduation in 1993, I had been a software user. I was using 2D
and 3D design software to design layouts of process plants and refineries as well as was using stress
analysis software to find the safe piping route for an optimal plant layout. This period gave me a
good understanding of what a Software User wants from software.
In 2001, I became a Sun Certified Java developer and got an opportunity to work as software
developer with a 2D and 3D design software firm. I did software development in various domain viz.
engineering, life insurance, telecom and GIS in various roles such as developer, team lead, project
Manager.
In 2009, I started working as customer delivery manager where I handled project deliveries,
support, client interaction, requirement gathering, enhancements etc.
In 2012, I setup Professional service Center in India for a US MNC. Within 6 months
consultants became billable and 100% utilization was achieved in less than a year. Due to
consultants’ engagement in various global projects, my team was the most profitable professional
service team within the organization. In this role I sold consulting services to various clients globally
and supported sales team with technical solution presentation to different clients. Being a software
user earlier, an understanding of users’ difficulties in handling software features and
communicating requirement to software provider, helped me earn a good trust of many clients.
In 2017, in the same organization, I headed a global program with team distributed in USA,
Germany and India. To meet revenue target for the program, I took various steps including setting
up a sales team in China and soon I could exceed the revenue target.
In 2021, I setup a 50 people development Center for MapmyIndia. This was a greenfield
project where I setup office space with necessary infrastructure, hired developers, trained them till
they became billable. I ran this center for 3 years and expanded it from 7 developers in 2021 to 50.
In 2024, I transferred the operation to MapmyIndia. Additionally, in this period, I setup a team of 70
people for map digitization (data entry) for the same organization.
Apart from the various managerial skills outlined above, I am comfortable with technologies
such as Core Java, Python, Java based framework like spring etc. and am familiar with Mobile and
Web App Development, Database, Web Services, Tibco Messaging Hub etc.
My work experience helps me in
- setting up a team while ensuring their training and billability,
- running a program while ensuring to meet client expectation, understand client
requirement, handling project deliveries and meeting revenue target with help of pre
sales and sales
- setting up development center to meet organizational growth goal

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

"If there’s one phrase that sums up my journey, it’s truly ‘The eChai Effect.’ Six years ago, I simply walked into my first eChai event, not knowing what to expect. The honest conversations, energy, and inspiration from founders and entrepreneurs struck a chord within me. That eChai spark became the catalyst for everything to follow. I proudly say: my entrepreneurship journey started—and keeps evolving—because of eChai. Redicine Medsol’s story is integrally linked to this community. I’ve gained so much, not just as a founder but as a forever volunteer and grateful member of the eChai family. With all my heart, thank you Jatin Bhai and everyone at eChai for shaping, guiding, and supporting my dreams. The eChai Effect will always be a part of my story."

"eChai has played a truly pivotal role in HummingBird’s journey — even before Day Zero. From ideation to establishment and into growth, it’s been a constant source of support. It connected me with incredible people who’ve become more than just friends. One of the biggest reasons I chose to stay in Ahmedabad is because of the eChai community. It has shaped my growth — both personally and professionally — in ways that are hard to articulate. Honestly, words fall short when I try to express what eChai means to me. I’m deeply thankful and forever grateful to eChai for being such an integral part of my journey."

“When we launched LegalWiz.in back in 2016, concept of procuring legal and compliance services through a digital commerce platform wasn't as prominent in India. eChai played a significant role in providing the early adopters, and building significant positioning in the startup fraternity. Overtime, eChai grew to be a massive network of like-minded entrepreneurs and extended that benefit to all the members in a true "co-rise" spirit. I personally love to attend eChai events, learn from subject matter experts who share relatable and actionable insights and experiences. For startup journeys, it is so important to be surrounded by people who can add relevance, perspective, and push you to do better. Most importantly a group of people where you aren't being judged about things going right or wrong, but be a motivational force that keeps you going, yet keeping you in check. eChai is that place for me!”
