Software as a service, or SaaS, is a software delivery model that hosts business applications—such as customer relationship management (CRM) services, human resources management services, content management systems (CMS) or accounting services—on the cloud (in most cases, on the internet). By using cloud computing to deliver these virtual services, customers reduce costs normally associated with hosting data on physical servers and machines. SaaS has grown significantly within the last few years due to both consumers’ and businesses’ insatiable appetites for easy access to and consumption of online data.

To explore this emerging market and bring prominent startups delivering their services using SaaS model, Headstart Ahmedabad along with eChai is organizing session on "Building a SaaS business". Do join-in and be part of most exciting conversations along with other entrepreneurs of the city.

2. Mr. Chirag Jobanputra. Co-founder & CEO, eComNation

Chirag has 14+ years of experience in launching successful online properties for prestigious companies and government organizations. He has developed and implemented website strategy for leading companies such as Kotak Bank, Network 18, CtrlS, Coal Junction, and Landmark Group.

3. Mr. Rajiv Bhatt, Sr. Salseforce Technical Consultant, Apttus

Rajiv Bhatt has overall 10+ years of IT experience working in companies like Cognizant, Amdocs and now at Apttus. Since last 3 years, Rajiv has been excelling on Salesforce platform and leading enterprise integrations as a Sr. Technical Consultant. Being a domain expert, Rajiv played a vital role in serving many of the Fortune 500 clients of Apttus. He is also a co-organizer of Ahmedabad Salesforce Developers Group and has been a speaker/trainer in multiple sessions for Salesforce enthusiasts. In his free time he loves adventure travel, photography, trekking, volunteering, exploring new technologies and basically anything that is new and fun.

Once talk sessions are over, we'll join for felicitation event for startups featured in Coffee table book 2016 published during Vibrant Gujarat Startup Summit. The felicitation event will have presence of Smt. D Thara, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, GIDC as chief guest.
