Snap Networking

Happened on November 04, Saturday, 2017
4:30pm — 07:30pm (GMT+05:30)
ZoomStart India Plot No. 37
Event Details:

Event objective: Are you someone who shies away from networking even when you have to? Or someone who thinks going to such events is a waste of time because there is just too little time on your hand? Or want to learn a few tips and tricks to impress people you meet, wherever you go, be it for networking, or conferences, or even parties? Then this event is for you!

Borrowed from the ideas of speed networking and snap judgements, this event is sure to fire power the way you network during conferences and meetings, when you have just a few minutes to impress your counterpart.

Who is this session for: People who need to attend networking events as a part of their professional life like senior managers, entrepreneurs

Why attend this session: A lot of us are awkward at networking, even though we know it is required as a part of our daily profile. Especially since networking allows us a few minutes of speaking with strangers and then moving on. There is hardly any time to build a connect, leave alone exploring it to deepen a relationship. How when can one make a maximum impact in seconds so that the counterpart wants to explore further, is impressed with the elevator pitch and connects post the session with you? Get a hold over your first impressions, learn how to go all in with your nonverbal strategies and make the most of networking events.

Format: This event will be totally different from our other open format workshops, since here you will get a first hand chance to experience how we form impressions of others during networking events. You will also learn to read others’ thoughts, and intentions through their body language during such events and gain more social intelligence. Experience how snap judgements influence our everyday thinking and learn to make an impression which is difficult to forget for a long time post the conferences you attend to network. We will be lining up tons of practical experiments, role plays and games for this particular learning event.

Short round of Speed Networking

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

"If there’s one phrase that sums up my journey, it’s truly ‘The eChai Effect.’ Six years ago, I simply walked into my first eChai event, not knowing what to expect. The honest conversations, energy, and inspiration from founders and entrepreneurs struck a chord within me. That eChai spark became the catalyst for everything to follow. I proudly say: my entrepreneurship journey started—and keeps evolving—because of eChai. Redicine Medsol’s story is integrally linked to this community. I’ve gained so much, not just as a founder but as a forever volunteer and grateful member of the eChai family. With all my heart, thank you Jatin Bhai and everyone at eChai for shaping, guiding, and supporting my dreams. The eChai Effect will always be a part of my story."

"eChai is playing biggest role in my personal and professional life together. Its a community where i meet like minded people to share idea and learn from their idea. Even while playing cricket i learn something and i implement something new from that learning. Its my entry point for building network in different countries where my base is not established yet. Personally my only fun activity day in a week is eChai cricket and social."

"For me, eChai is a second home. I've been associated with it since the early days, when it was already setting a different tone for how startup communities could work. As a traditional business owner entering the new-age D2C space, eChai supported me in every direction. Over the years, it became my window to the startup world — and also gave me lifelong friends who continue to show up, for business and beyond."
