Agile

An approach to building software in small, frequent increments with constant feedback, rather than planning everything upfront. It values working software, collaboration, and responding to change.

Why it matters

Agile suits startups because it assumes you do not know the full answer yet and lets you adjust as you learn. Taken as dogma it becomes ceremony, but as a mindset, ship small, learn, adjust, it fits how startups actually work.

For example

Rather than spend six months building to a fixed spec, the team ships a small improvement every two weeks and adjusts based on how users respond.
