Org Chart
Also called Organizational Chart
A map of how a company is structured: who reports to whom, and how teams and roles fit together. It shows the lines of responsibility and communication.
Why it matters
As a startup grows, an intentional org structure prevents confusion over who owns what and how decisions flow. The chart should follow strategy, not the other way around, and staying flat early keeps a company fast.

As the team passes 30 people, the founder draws an org chart so everyone knows who owns what and decisions stop bottlenecking on them.
