How do founders measure whether AI-assisted social content is actually working?

Ignore follower counts; track engagement quality (comments, saves, DMs), profile-to-site clicks, and how many qualified conversations or signups each week of content produces. AI analytics inside Buffer, Metricool, or Sprout surface which topics and formats drive those outcomes, and increasingly you should also watch whether AI assistants cite you. If content is not creating conversations with your ideal customers after 90 days, change the content, not the dashboard.
