In his current capacity, he is currently in an Advisor to multiple Technology/ Startup Incubators and Startups helping them deal with their Funding and Legal Challenges by Leveraging his Connections and Knowledge of the India Startup Funding Ecosystem.
Previously he has been involved in his capacity as Director at Somaiya and Co., a Boutique Tax and Compliance Consulting Firm which enables leaders to lead their businesses to success using timely compliance and accurate financial data along with innovative strategies for tax planning. During his involvement, Abhishek saw the onboarding of clients having Net Worth exceeding $250 mn.
Abhishek is also a co-founder at My Cute Office, a Quality Coworking Space for Rockstar Teams based out of Mumbai. Along with Flexibility and Customisation, My Cute Office also helps Companies and Founders connect with a robust network of Businesses. My Cute Office is proud to have served over 300 companies in the last two years including some of the largest startups and conglomerates. My Cute Office is funded by some of the most prominent angel investors in India. His role at My Cute Office was to guide the overall development vision and business strategy while creating strategic relations with the various vendors and investors.
Prior to My Cute Office Abhishek was also the co-founder Qpeka - A digital publishing website which also acts as medium for authors to directly reach out to their readers. The concept was to let users pay for content on a per page basis rather than buy upfront to ensure that readers only pay for content which they like reading. While doing this the literary works are secured from copying.
His involvement saw Qpeka being selected as one of the Top 8 startups in India during Nasscom Techstock 2013 event as well as being selected in the Top 4 startups at TiE Acceleration program in Mumbai
Prior to Qpeka, Abhishek was with global advisory company KPMG for 4 years in the International Taxation division.
