Fida founded Zaytouneh.com in 2011, and Atbaki 2014; creating the largest digital recipe platform in Arabic, used by millions.
Fida was selected as E&Y emerging entrepreneur for the year 2013 for her work with Zaytouneh. Taher has also been appointed as Jordan’s Ambassador for Women Entrepreneurship Day (WED) for the years 2015-2019. Taher is the co-founder of the fast-growing “Women in Business Arabia” network, board member at the Micro Fund for Women, Goldman Sachs 10k women Alumni 2015, BPWA member, served on several advisory boards of startups as well as actively engaged with a number of NGOs and initiatives that aim to empower women & youth.
For the past 2 years, Fida has been working closely with leading angel investors essentially managing their investment portfolios including activities such as opportunity identification, deal structuring, operational assistance at the portfolio company level as well as board representation. Fida is now working full time as a Managing Partner at Amam Ventures; an impact gender lens fund that caters to businesses that are committed to equality, those that put women at the front and focus on specifically serving women in Jordan & the Levant .
