More about Naman Sarawagi

Building Refrens.com- a market network for B2B service providers.

Independent Director - E2E Networks Limited - IPO 2018.
Early Investor- Cashfree, DailyNinja, Holidify, SpringRole, BBetter, Sugoi, Walrus, Piggyride, Arintra.

Last startup - FindYogi.com - profitable, sold to Way2 News.

Earlier, I helped build Freecharge.in from an idea to its first 100K users. As the first hire, I was handling product, marketing, and technology single-handed. The customer acquisition cost and rate of growth that I commanded is never heard of in Indian eCommerce space - 2K transactions/day in less than 100 days from launch @ less than Rs.4/user. Sorry, couldn't make it sound more modest. :)

I left Freecharge to join ZipDial. The "missed call" idea behind ZipDial is something I had worked on back in college. We built a prototype and won couple of awards at BPlan competitions. ZipDial was taking it commercial and it seemed a promising team to work with. At ZipDial as well I was the first hire. I started as a product manager, moved into enterprise sales and marketing.

All this while I also blogged about startups and consumer web in India at NextBigWhat.com, contributing 250+ articles.

The eChai Effect - In Their Words

"From late-night brainstorming over chai to early morning founder calls, eChai has been more than just a network for me; it’s been home base for ideas, impact, and inspiration. What started as a simple meetup years ago turned into a powerful movement, connecting founders, creators, and dreamers. I’ve had the privilege of seeing startups find product-market fit, marketers (like me) find unexpected collaborations, and most importantly, people finding their tribe. संगच्छध्वं संवदध्वं – Let us move together, speak together. It’s not just a verse from the Rigveda — it’s how Jatin and the entire eChai community truly operate. We don’t just network, we grow together. Forever grateful to be a part of the eChai Effect.

“I have no hesitation in saying that my association with eChai has been a gateway into the startup ecosystem. Through this platform, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many young and dynamic entrepreneurs. These interactions have been immensely enriching - I’ve learned a great deal and have always tried to offer guidance whenever approached. It’s a truly symbiotic relationship that I deeply value, and it wouldn’t have been possible without eChai.”

"The eChai platform has been super valuable for me - it has helped me gain a deeper understanding of domains in the startup and tech ecosystem. What stands out most is the celebration of knowledge, professional growth, and entrepreneurship - it’s one of the best for the Indian ecosystem. Along the way, I’ve also been fortunate to make some great friendships and connections too."
