Earlier was the first CEO of Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay one of India's most successful and pioneering incubator with investments across consumer durables, consumer internet, telecom equipment, healthcare and hardware product companies. Included firms like Sensibol and Webaroo co-founded by IITB alumni. They include many successful organizations which now contribute to the economy.
He has diverse experience and worked across various local & global firms in boutique investment banking advisory practice, equity funds, equity research, conglomerates and consulting companies. Sushanto's core strength is to bring together indispensable entrepreneurial experience for venture capital investments across domains. He has assisted market entry strategies, successful ipo and exits across diverse sectors. He has worked with multi-national clients & deal teams at CXO levels for companies across locations.
He is a TIE Charter Member and Member Mentor Panel, FITT, IIT Delhi. He has deep interest in early stage ventures and development of entrepreneurship. He also mentored start-ups at business idea level some of whom are now strong global companies in technology space. He is a visiting faculty for internationally acclaimed conferences and academic institutions including IITs & IIMs. He is the co-author of the upcoming book - Funding your Start-up published by Penguin.
