Vikas is a researcher turned entrepreneur. He is a computer science graduate by certificate, backpack traveler by hobby, a design thinker by training, and a strong believer in an empathy-driven approach.
In 2010, started his entrepreneurial journey while he was studying in high school; Zankar Technologies, an offshore service-based IT company was his first venture serving global clients in the west – Web Design/ Development, Android/iOS Development, Facebook Games, Digital Media Promotions, etc.
In 2013, he pivoted ‘Zankar’ being as a service-based company to focus on the in-house products building. Finding an opportunity in the international e-commerce space built several products for B2C & B2B e-com companies.
In 2015, he ventured ‘Navkar Ventures’ strategic partnership with EOU Unit – Parth Natural Stones Pvt. Ltd. to spread their raw marble export business globally.
In 2016, being a backpacker; he ventured into hospitality space “The Journey Hostels – Namaste Backpacker Hostels Pvt. Ltd.”, – Backpacker Hostel Chain (socialize hotel concept) in the old city of Udaipur; Which recently acquired by another chain group.
Vikas has been a part of various startup communities. Having worked with teams from MIT Media Lab, NITI Aayog, Intel Edu & Google Communities. He has specialized himself in running tech-driven scalable ventures & building the value-driven organizational team culture and envisions building an impactful business.
Vikas’s interpersonal skills had made him gain a huge network of people and organizations whom he always tries to help in any way possible with his belief in the concept of ‘CoRise’.With all the learnings and experiences he had gained with his successes and failures, Vikas is currently building up his next venture in the Edu domain, to bring a change in the world through an innovative learning approach for K12 school students. Vikas is an esteemed member of TiE and JITO.
Vikas has also mentored & invested in a bunch of startups, his portfolio includes startup companies like blowhorn, pariksha, hotspot, hotelz, etc.
