Dr. Gandhi has an overall 24+ years of extensive experience in various aspects of Investments & Tech
transfer, Angel Investment, Venture Builder Mergers & Acquisitions, Portfolio Management and Due
Diligence.
He is an active angel investor, having personally invested in 35+ early-stage ventures and playing a key
role in their growth, mentoring, and strategic development. His diverse portfolio spans multiple
sectors, including AgriTech with ATGC Biotech Pvt Ltd (ATGC); Healthcare & HealthTech with startups
like Besure Buddy, Cancer Rounds, Collabrix, CredoHire, DoseTap, Dr. At Home, LarkAI, Livofy,
Medvolant, Merry Health, NowZone, Nuossean Biomedical, Qme, Sevamob, Sonative, Sparshmind,
Trexova, Trifit, GreenScreen, and DocPlix. In EdTech, he has backed Exampur, First Hope, ixamBee,
and MentorKart, while his investments in D2C & Consumer Brands include Sugar Watchers,
RunoFresh, and Recode. His HR Tech, Digital & IT investments feature Creasip, Collabrix, and
CredoHire, alongside ventures in AutoTech & Event Tech such as Garaaaz, Styleworks, and Venator
Minds. Additionally, he has supported ITES & Products startups like Recyclekart and Gadget Guruz, as
well as initiatives in Wellness & Mental Health with United We Care.
Prior to BIORx, Dr. Gandhi has held top and mid management positions in YES Bank (Marquee
transaction was Financial Closure for Medanta Hospital - Rs 1000 Crores 1500 bedded Multispecialty
Hospital, Ranbaxy Research Laboratories (now Sun Pharma), Oncquest (as an Intrapreneur, started
venture with Dabur’s support which is now a Rs. 500 crores plus revenue venture catering to niche
molecular diagnostics services for cancer), Dabur Research Foundation (now Fresenius Kabi).
Dr. Gandhi holds a Ph.D. in Technology Business Incubation Performance Measurement from the
Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University, An MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur,
an EMBA in Digital Healthcare Investing from Columbia Business School, and an M.Sc. in Biotech from
the University of Hyderabad and B.Sc. from South Campus, University of Delhi.
He has been mentoring startups at CIIE of IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Delhi for a decade and has significant
involvement with 40+ life sciences-focused incubators across the country.
Driven by a passion for teaching, he gives guest lectures and was recently appointed as an Adjunct
Faculty (Strategic Consulting) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Management, NIPER Ahmedabad,
Institution set up by Govt of India. Additionally, Dr. Gandhi has been an He is also a lifetime member
