I am Karthik Gowda V S, a Bachelor of Fisheries Science graduate and co-founder of Canares Aquaculture LLP, India’s first private marine finfish hatchery. Since 2020, we’ve been producing high-quality Asian seabass seeds and currently contribute to 90% of India’s seabass production.

Our mission is to empower farmers through innovative and sustainable aquaculture solutions. We provide disease-resistant seeds, cost-effective inputs, technical support, and guaranteed buyback contracts, ensuring profitability and predictability for farmers. Additionally, we’re driving sustainability and transparency in the industry through AI-driven logistics and blockchain-enabled systems from seeds to plate.
