With 22 years in the sports industry—starting at the age of eight—I have witnessed both significant gaps and opportunities. One of the most pressing issues has been the lack of fairness and outdated systems in sports, which compromise athletes’ fundamental right to fair competition.
Motivated by this challenge, I dedicated myself to improving the sport I have been most involved with—Taekwondo. After completing my college education, I developed sensor-embedded protectors that address many of the sport’s persistent issues. Recognizing the broader demand, I founded DO Sports to make these products accessible at an affordable price, with the goal of increasing their adoption from 5% of championships to 50% within two years.
Beyond equipment innovation, we have also worked to help sports associations manage their events more efficiently. However, many challenges remain unaddressed, and solving these has become our next mission.
At my core, I believe that every individual experiences different facets of life, and by taking up challenges within those areas, we contribute to the collective progress of humanity. Nothing in this world is beyond improvement, and by continually striving to enhance even the smallest aspects, we push forward the creative and versatile conscience of human civilization.
