Rahul R has been in business for close to 20 years; in his elaborate career, he has been instrumental in building the startup ecosystem at a global level. Working closely with over 500+ startups from across the world in various sectors like Deep tech, Health tech, AI, Robotics & Manufacturing.
He has built a private incubator Octo Spaces from scratch & incubated over 50+ startups in 5 years. He is part of the Indian Startup Ecosystem working closely in G20’s track of Startup’20, and also a part of international delegations to many countries on behalf of Govt of India.
A.K.A “Brand Wizard”, his core expertise is Event Design, Branding, Marketing, Strategy, Research & Communication. His stint includes working for brands like Microsoft & CtrlS, apart from 250+ global clients in various sectors Banking & Finance, Education, IT & ITES, Infra, Automobile, Aviation, Luxury, Sports and Telcom.
His work spreads across the globe in geographies outside India, the Americas, MENA, Europe & APAC. Lastly, he also has an MBA in Business Analysis & International Marketing from the University of Miami, USA along with being an IT graduate (B.Tech).
Affectionately nicknamed the art and cultural connoisseur of Hyderabad, Rahul R is a theatre artist by passion, an abstract photographer, a critique & a filmmaker (whose films have been represented in India's 100 global film festivals). An activist who has been restlessly working for Green initiatives and public Spaces & with NGOs (across the globe) to support street children. Initiator of cultural spaces such as Phoenix Arena & Gallery 78 (Hyd).A traveller by choice, with over 70+ countries under his travel list, but he believes exploring India, is the best. He has been featured in Forbes 40 under 40, top business leaders in India of the year 2024.
