Sourav is a hardcore generalist who constantly learns by doing. In his second entrepreneurial stint, he is the founder of KuberBox.com. At KuberBox, he is the chief firefighter, ensuring the KuberBox brand continues to thrive.

Sourav is deeply inspired by his humble upbringing in a small village in Jharkhand. His Engineer father (who graduated at the top of his class at BIT-Mesra but later ran a soap manufacturing business) and devoted mother imbibed values in him that still drive his decisions. As a result, Sourav values creativity, empathy, and resourcefulness.

Local schools in the village weren't good enough and none of them was English medium, so Sourav attended various boarding schools across Raipur (Chattisgarh), Panchgani (Maharashtra) & Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). Attending boarding schools and having a diverse peer group exposed Sourav to different cultures and helped shape his liberal views. Later, he enrolled at SRM University in Chennai for his undergraduate degree in Engineering. There, he realized his love for creating and building an internet enterprise and as a result was an active part of various clubs and fests at the college. Sourav's father had imbibed the value that formal education alone cannot provide an all-around development and this stayed with Sourav - who pursued a variety of interests outside of studies. Later, those experiences helped Sourav in starting PrintBooth - a student start-up venture he founded. The startup bug had bitten. That was the time when Flipkarts of the world had started and that fuelled the aspirations. On graduating, Sourav chose a startup job with BYJU's over traditional core engineering jobs. Sourav chose this startup job even over the top MBA college admits he had secured from the likes of MDI and XIMB. The idea was to gather some startup work experience because that's what Sourav enjoyed the most - the hustle and the adrenaline rush.

Around 2013, Sourav began his second stint at entrepreneurship with KuberBox - a private-label jewellery brand that makes high-quality jewellery for the masses. Using 3D printing and the latest designing tools, as against the conventional industry practice of hand-made jewellery, KuberBox wants to make fine jewellery affordable. Using 3D design tools, KuberBox can have a fast turnaround while keeping a minimum inventory. At KuberBox, Sourav's role is to take this new-age jewellery brand to the nooks and corners of the country, while helping and taking help from self-employed entrepreneurs.
