Surendra Varma is an accomplished human resources leader with over 20 years of experience helping organizations Small and medium size to build their talent and culture.

He spent his first decade managing HR functions for growing corporate companies before founding two successful ventures over the last 10 years focused on recruitment and HR solutions platform for MSMEs and SMEs.

At Emgage, we help small businesses to simplify and streamline their people management practices through our virtual HR service delivery platform. We are looking to empower 50,000 MSMEs in next 5 years through our HR tech platfrom to set them up for high growth and in turn they help India to achieve their goal of becoming world's third largest economy.

Beyond his entrepreneurial pursuits, Surendra is passionate about fitness and testing his endurance through long distance running. He has completed numerous marathons, half-marathons and ultra marathons across India, including the grueling 72km Khardung La Challenge in Ladakh this September.
