As an active contributor to the open-source community, Yaten has made significant contributions to several projects, including those under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), such as Keploy, Meshery, and Taipy.

Currently, Yaten is developing an Attendance Management System tailored for schools and colleges. This application aims to streamline processes like managing attendance records, sharing results, conducting quizzes, and more, providing an efficient solution for educational institutions.
