Presenting Hireomatic at Demo Day

Aaleen Mirza on taking an idea about faster, more structured hiring to the eChai Demo Day stage as a working AI platform.

Aaleen Mirza Sr. Full Stack AI Engineer | Founding Engineer at Hireomatic | MBA 18 Aug 2026

A Moment to Remember
On 25th July 2026, I had the opportunity to present Hireomatic at the eChai Ventures Demo Day.
What started as an idea around making hiring faster, smarter, and more structured has evolved into a platform that uses AI to help companies screen candidates, conduct AI-powered interviews, evaluate responses, and generate actionable hiring insights.
Presenting Hireomatic in front of fellow founders, entrepreneurs, and the eChai Ventures community was a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to step back from building and share the problem we're solving, what we've built, and where we're taking it next.

A big thank you to the eChai Ventures team for creating a platform where builders can showcase their products, exchange ideas, and learn from each other.
And of course, a huge shoutout to everyone who took the time to listen, ask questions, and share feedback.

Building. Learning. Iterating.

I left with more ideas than I came in with

Khushi M on the eChai Startup Network evening in Bengaluru, and hearing founders at very different stages describe how they build and sell.

Khushi M Product Champion @Piqual 18 Aug 2026

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the eChai Startup Network event by eChai Ventures in Bangalore - and it was honestly one of those events where you walk away with more ideas than you came in with.

What I really enjoyed was meeting founders and leaders from different stages of their journey and hearing how they think about building, selling, and scaling their businesses.
As the Product Owner at Piqual, it was especially exciting to introduce Piqual to founders and sales teams and have conversations around one of the challenges we’re working to solve - making B2B lead generation smarter and more effective with AI.

The conversations, questions, and curiosity around Piqual were genuinely encouraging. But more than that, the event was a great reminder that building a product isn’t just about what happens inside the product team - it’s about getting out there, listening to the market, and understanding the people you’re building for.

A big thank you to eChai Ventures for bringing together such a vibrant startup community. Always great to meet people who are building, experimenting, and figuring things out along the way. Looking forward to more conversations, more learning, and hopefully, some great collaborations ahead! 🚀

I held the mic and heard myself stumble

Harshitha V on pitching herself out loud for the first time at an eChai meetup, and what that did for how she introduces her work now.

Harshitha V Build your personal brand before building company | LinkedIn ghostwriter | Personal branding & LinkedIn Growth | Digital writing | 24 Aug 2026

"I... I... I aaaam Harshithaa...aaaa
I am a post graduate turned founder,

I provide personal branding services and content marketing for biotech founders

I have 4k followers on LinkedIn,

sooo. yeah!!.looking forward to connect"

this was my exact pitch, holding mike in eChai Ventures front of 70-80 people

people are building,
exploring,
experimenting ,
looking for investors and
growth partners

the aura itself speaks a lot!!

I was stammering, hesitating and recollecting my words but blabbered out anyway

Two meetups in Pune, and what made them worth the evening

Tanushree Raghatate on the Startup Growth Social and the AI x SaaS meetup, and what a student gets from being surrounded by founders and mentors.

Tanushree Raghatate IIIT PUNE ECE’29| Exploring product management, business analysis,AI and FinTech| UI/UX and startup enthusiast 25 Aug 2026

🚀 Stepping into Pune’s Startup Ecosystem!
Had an amazing opportunity to attend two eChai Ventures meetups in Pune — the Startup Growth Social Meetup and the AI X SaaS Startup Meetup.
What made these experiences truly valuable was being surrounded by founders, mentors, developers, and fellow builders who are actively working on ideas, products, and businesses.
For me, this was more than just attending a meetup. It was an opportunity to step outside my usual environment, start conversations, exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn directly from people who are building in the real world.
One of the highlights was getting the opportunity to discuss FINNIS — the Gen Z-focused finance platform I’m building — with people from the startup ecosystem and receive valuable feedback and perspectives on the idea. Those conversations gave me new ways to think about the product, its users, and the problem I’m trying to solve.
It also reminded me of something important:
Building something is not just about having an idea. It’s about putting that idea out there, listening to people, challenging your assumptions, and continuously improving.
Some conversations reinforce what you already know.
The right conversations make you rethink what you thought you knew.
And that’s exactly what I’m taking away from these meetups — new perspectives, meaningful connections, valuable feedback, and even more motivation to keep building. 🚀
A big thank you to eChai Ventures for creating spaces where students, founders, mentors, developers, and aspiring entrepreneurs can come together, learn from each other, and be part of the larger startup ecosystem. 🤝
The journey of FINNIS continues. 💜🚀
