How do founders use AI for financial modeling and forecasting?

Use AI as your analyst pair, not your CFO: it drafts model structure, writes and audits formulas, stress-tests assumptions (which assumption would an investor attack first?), and explains finance jargon in plain language. Keep the model itself in a spreadsheet you understand line by line, because investors probe the logic, not the tool. Claude in Excel and purpose-built prompts have made the drafting step dramatically faster.
