An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Tan held a wide variety of roles in industry and government, including product development at Motorola, techno-business consulting at Scientific Generics in Cambridge, UK, Chief Technology Officer at the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), the Executive Director at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R) and now running AIDA Technologies, an award-winning FinTech start-up with customers across 6 countries.
Dr Tan obtained his PhD from Cambridge University in 1990. He attended the Advanced Management Programme at Wharton in 2007 and the Executive Programme at the Singularity University in 2011.
