It empowers retail investors by giving them access to the same technology, processes, advice and investment products as those used by professional investment funds. Tavaga aims to empower investors by helping them save more and achieve user defined goals, by investing in cost effective instruments, like ETFs. Tavaga’s service is an alternative to mutual funds, mutual fund aggregation Robo Advisory start-ups and traditional savings instruments.
My background - I am a Consumer Research Analyst with c.12 years of sell-side experience, covering developed and emerging markets. Have carried on a top-down approach for stock selection with high focus on corporate governance and valuation.
Maintained contrarian negative stance on the alcoholic beverages pack (United Spirits, et al) from 2013-15 while questioned marquee companies like Hindustan Unilever on royalty increase and subsequent buy-back by Unilever in 2013.
