Sarang is an innovator and entrepreneur. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York, USA. He holds 5 US patents and has over 40 publications to his name. After working at 2 startups and a Fortune 100 company in the US he moved back to India to pursue the dream of starting up on his own. He is passionate about using mobile technology to simplify life.
Sarang's first company built InTouchApp - one of the world's most innovative and popular Contacts app for the smartphone, used by thousands of small businesses and over a million professionals around the world. TIME magazine has mentioned InTouchApp as a successful product coming out of the global tech hub of Pune city.
Currently Sarang is working on re-inventing the web browser for the smartphone. His new product "Dome" aims to solve the one problem every smartphone user faces: installing a new app for every small purpose! Dome is a "universal" app that lets you create "Domes" (similar to how you would create websites in the PC era) for their business, community, friends, or just to showcase yourself!
