I am the Chief Marketing Officer at Cropin, a B2B Agtech company. My focus is on developing a new global product category and creating a brand that leads the digital transformation in agriculture. Previously, I was part of the founding team for Google Cloud in India and helped grow the business to take market share from AWS and Microsoft. I have also led marketing as VP at Aranca, and was part of the initial team at Amazon that drove growth for AWS in the Indian sub-continent.
I have over a decade of experience in taking cloud services to market and have consistently built world-class marketing capabilities for the organizations I have worked with, resulting in increased business revenue and brand recognition. I am a keen student and practitioner of B2B marketing and have been recognized as one of the 50 Most Talented CMOs of India in 2013 and 2015.
Throughout my 20-year career, I have held key marketing roles at companies like 3i Infotech and McAfee, where I led enterprise marketing in the India & SAARC region. I began my career at Sercon and have managed and rolled-out several BTL marketing campaigns for brands such as HUL, Cisco, Oracle and Symantec.
I believe that a strong focus on people and culture, an emphasis on building for scale, and a drive to constantly raise the bar and plan for 10x impact, has allowed me to consistently deliver value for the businesses I have worked with.
I hold a Hotel Management degree from IHMCTAN and a post-grad degree in management from IIM Kozhikode's Executive Management Education Programme. With a deep understanding of the IT ecosystem and complex enterprise decision-making process, I bring a keen sense for business-oriented marketing and strong execution capabilities to the table.
