If you decide to send from a separate domain for deliverability reasons, this is the official, no nonsense setup guide for the authentication records that keep your email out of spam. It's dry, but it's a primary source rather than a marketing blog padded with upsells, and it takes about ten minutes to action. Use it once, then forget it exists.

• SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are the three DNS records that establish your domain's sending reputation.
• Set them up before you send any real volume of outbound email from a new domain.
• Give each record 24 to 48 hours to propagate before you rely on it.
