Bhavin and I (husband-wife team) started IndiaBizForSale.com together in January 2013 while we were still residing in UK. We moved back to India in December 2013 to be on the ground while business was shaping up.

With my background and experience in Finance area and Bhavin’s core expertise into Sales and Marketing; it has been a fascinating journey for us so far in terms of re-settling in India and getting grips with business / startup ecosystem in India. However, the fast growing start-up eco system has been supporting in terms of managing challenges and opportunities of a start up.

Our start-up www.indiabizforsale.com is an online discovery platform for (SMEs) business exit, stake sell, business investment, and also acquisitions for companies based out of India. Currently we have 2100+ registered users, out of which 550+ of them are business brokers/M&A consultants and rest are direct business owners or business investors.

This business model is a very well established in UK, US, Australia, etc… but in India, Selling a Business and finding buyers online is yet not a well established business model. We are making this accessible, affordable and creating a real solution to many SMEs in India. We have been adopting our business model to match with the expectations of businesses in India.

We are aiming to reach 15,000 such listings by 2018 (in India there are 48 million SMEs). A leading UK based discovery platform currently has more than 25,000 such business listings available.
