Runs sales and marketing at Darwinbox, selling HR software from Hyderabad into large enterprises across 130 countries
Why they're worth your time
Darwinbox is one of the clearest examples of an Indian company winning large enterprise deals in Southeast Asia and beyond rather than defaulting to the US, and he owns that motion. His interviews are useful on how to sequence markets, and on selling a system-of-record product where the buying committee is enormous.
Background
Jayant Paleti co-founded Darwinbox in 2015 with Rohit Chennamaneni and Chaitanya Peddi, and heads sales and marketing there. Darwinbox now serves over 1,000 enterprises across 130 countries. He came to it from corporate advisory and investment banking at EY and consulting at Deloitte, and is an IIT Madras and IIM Lucknow graduate. He presents at SHRM conferences and gives long HR tech and founder interviews on how the company sold into Asian and global enterprise accounts.
