Alok Ranjan is Partner & Co-Founder at Tauran Advisors, a strategy & management consulting firm, specialising in digital transformation, digital capacity, ESG advisory market research & development and marketing & brand transformation.

He is also the Founder of Fiterobic, a health tech platform for fitness evangelists and enthusiasts.

Before this, Alok served as the Global Head of Marketing at Anunta Technology and Head of Marketing & Communications at Tata Communication Transformation Services among several other leadership roles across global technology firms and advisory.

He has been recognised among the Top 100 Most Innovative MarTech Leaders for 3 years (2022, 2021, 2020) in a row. He has also received the CMO of the Year Award by Enterprise IT World. He has also been featured as a Jury for industry-leading Marketing awards, including Sparkies Award, and BrandTrail.
 He is a specialist in the “Build to Scale” model of marketing and brings 20+ years of strong experience in technology marketing and business transformation advisory. Earlier, Alok has led several marketing leadership roles at Tata Communications, ITC Infotech, Essel Group and in an advisory capacity at Avasant.

In the past, Alok has advised the Ministry of ICT in many African, European, and Latin American nations on investment promotion, impact sourcing, and digital strategy. He advises start-ups on brand building, technology adoption and revenue generation.

He is a mentor to many well-funded and profitable start-ups in nutraceutical, ed-tech, clothing, and retail in India and a few Professional Services companies, based in the US. He is also a marketing mentor to one of the oldest life-saving NGOs in India.

Alok is an invited speaker at many leading business schools (Jamnalal Bajaj, S. P Jain, Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, University of Pondicherry, SIES Mumbai, Atharva School of Business, Mumbai Education Trust (MET), Universal School of Business, Mumbai and is on the Advisory Board for MBA program at a leading business school in India and Marketing Advisory Board Member at an AI University Business School.

Alok has published several articles and thought pieces in leading magazines, including Dataquest, The Hindu BusinessLine, Informa Markets, TimesProperty, The Times of India, Silicon India, and Social Samosa, etc.

Alok is a Half-marathoner and Certified Fitness, Nutrition, and Yoga coach from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, USA.
