Dr. Nageswara Rao Atyam, a Senior Member of IEEE, boasts 13 years of expertise in teaching and research. He earned his B.Tech. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master's in Power System Automation and Control from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 2011 and 2015, respectively. In 2021, he completed his Ph.D. from VIT University, Vellore, India. Furthermore, he possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) from NIT Warangal. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor and Heads the Innovations & Entrepreneurship with EEE department at CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) in Bengaluru, India. Throughout his career, he has held positions such as Head of Department, Placement Manager, and Area Chair at various universities. He has been honored with the Raman Research Award by VIT for his research publications and has authored 30 research articles in prestigious international Scopus and SCI journals. Additionally, Dr. Rao holds 18 patents, including 6 granted ones, and is presently serving as the acting Vice Chair of IEEE Young Professionals, Affinity Group 2023, Bengaluru Section. In 2023, he received the Outstanding Contributor Award and won prestigious R10 Ethics champion from IEEE. His research interests encompass Entrepreneurship Management, Digital Marketing, RES Grid Integration, online voltage stability monitoring, WAMS in Smart Grid, Big Data analytics in smart grid, and Hybrid Electrical Vehicles. Dr. Rao has acted as a reviewer for esteemed journals like Springer, Taylor & Francis, and John Wiley. He is also a recognized research supervisor for VTU and an Innovation Ambassador for Innovation Cell of Govt of India, mentor for ATL school linkage and mentoring from the MOE initiative of the Government of India. He has secured funding of approximately 10 lakhs from the Government of India and IEEE. To date, he has delivered 35 invited talks on research and innovation. He has successfully orchestrated 40 events, including Hackathons, workshops, webinars, and more, on a national scale. Additionally, he has organized 10 events with an international reach. Dr. Rao is a dedicated and engaging professor who has significantly contributed to the development and delivery of technology curriculum for bachelor's programs. His background in academic advisement highlights his exceptional communication, teaching, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
