My name is Wardan.
I am a graduate in direction and screenwriting from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata, India.
I have been working as a freelance filmmaker (Scriptwriter, Creative/Associate/Assistant Director) in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and have considerable experience in Hindi, Marathi and Bangla films in various departments.
My diploma film 'Dream Merchant', documentary 'Neev - The Foundation' and music video 'Bawra Mann' have been screened at various film festivals like IFFI Goa, KFF Kolkata, TISS Mumbai, Sebastopol Doc. Fest., etc.
My short and feature film scripts have participated in various contests like BSSC, Shore, Bath, Taliesin Nexus, etc.
I am very well versed in English, Hindi, and Marathi. I can understand Bengali, Gujarati, and Punjabi too.
I worked with Chandigarh University as an assistant professor in the film studies department. I also worked as a Script Writer with Green Gold Animation, Hyderabad.
Now working as a freelance copywriter and script writer in Hyderabad.
