A Tasmania Tours article listed the Weldborough Hot Springs among the seven best in the state, with generated photographs of them. Weldborough is a former tin mining village in Tasmania's northeast and has never had hot springs. The piece went up in July 2025 and drew a steady stream of people over the following six months, including a group of 24 drivers who detoured from the mainland; the nearest thing to the springs is a cold river. The operator's own words are the quote, and the site carried other generated destination posts alongside it. Most fabrications on this page are caught by a reader who knows the subject. This one was published for people who by definition do not know the place, and the cost of checking it was a day's drive.

Karthik Nagapuri is building Wear Synapse, a privacy-first AI wearable out of Bengaluru, and he spoke to 146 founders at Hyderabad Startup Day at DraperU India. He wears the device around his neck, and he says that alone brought in a letter of intent for 1,000 units from a homecare-healthcare business. The session was scheduled for 45 minutes and ran past two hours.

Spent the evening at Hyderabad Startup Day by eChai.

Joined the "How Founders Use AI session", and as a Founder at SixT4 Creations, it made me think about how much of our own work can be reimagined with AI.

The interesting part wasn’t hearing about the latest AI tools. It was hearing how other founders are experimenting, what’s actually working for them, and where they’re still figuring things out.

Left with a few ideas I’m genuinely excited to try.

Also, really liked the vibe eChai Ventures creates — just founders getting together, sharing openly, and learning from each other.
