The logo
The full lockup is the default. Use the version built for the background it sits on rather than putting the logo in a white box on a coloured page.
The mark on its own
For an avatar, a favicon, or anywhere the name is already written beside it. Do not redraw or recolour it.
The wordmark on its own
Where the mark would be redundant, such as a row of partner logos that is already all marks.
Colours
Orange is the mark and the only colour the logo is ever drawn in. The rest are the site's own, listed so a co-branded page can sit beside it.
Using it
- Leave it room. Keep clear space around the logo of at least half the height of the mark, on every side.
- Do not set it too small. The full lockup holds down to about 120px wide on screen, or 30mm in print. The mark on its own holds to about 24px, or 8mm. Below that the rings inside it stop resolving.
- Do not redraw it. No recolouring, no stretching, no rotating, no outlines, no shadows, and no substituting the wordmark with a typeface.
- Do not build it into another logo. Set eChai's logo beside yours with space between them, rather than locking the two into one mark.
- Put it on enough contrast. On a photograph use the one-colour white version over a dark enough part of the image.
