  Learning is bigger than a classroom. Sometimes, the city itself is the lesson.

  At Narayana Business School, we believe that building a holistic personality requires more than academic knowledge. It requires students to understand people, places, cultures, histories, and the world around them.

  As part of #Genesis - our flagship orientation program, we take our students beyond the campus through an immersive Heritage Walk of Ahmedabad, introducing them to the living history, culture, architecture, and character of the city they will call home.

  This year marks the sixth year of this tradition. Ahmedabad, a UNESCO World Heritage City, becomes our classroom as students experience the city not merely as residents, but as curious observers and learners.

  Our endeavour is not to build a singular personality, but a holistic one - someone who can think deeply, appreciate diversity, understand context, and engage meaningfully with the world.

  I have been fortunate to be a part of these walks over the years, and while I missed being there this time, it was wonderful to see the tradition continue with the same spirit.

  Businesses aren't always about profit.

  I've been reflecting on the enterprises that measure success by the impact they create rather than the margins they make. I just watched a 15-minute video on Akshayakalpa Organic, and I can't stop thinking about it.

  Akshayakalpa Organic paid 2,800 farmers over ₹17 lakh a year each— aggregating to around ₹480 crore annually flowing directly into farming communities.

  Shashi Kumar is crazy.

  Here's a tech professional who came all the way back from the US to help farmers — building a full ecosystem that directly benefits farming communities.

  What struck me most was Shashi's vision: to build not just a company, but an institution — one designed to outlive its founder and serve the most deserving communities for the next 100, 200, even 300 years.

  His deeper mission? To bring the younger generation back to farming and make it a viable vocation....

  Can a private enterprise become an institution and social wealth for the nation ? Stories like this make me believe it can. 🌱

  A big thank you to Kamesh Vyas for conducting an insightful training workshop on AI-first coding. Coming from a highly accomplished consultant with deep experience in building global scalable systems, it was absolutely no-nonsense and hands-on.

  What made this training especially valuable was its practicality—not just theory, but real workflows our teams can apply immediately.

  • Bring in fresh perspectives
  • Challenge the status quo
  • Offer timely reminders on priorities that often slip to the back burner amid day-to-day demands
